SOLO EXHIBITION OF ARMENIAN PRODUCTS AND SERVICES (ARMENIA EXPO) IN TEHRAN

Date: October 5-8, 2016.

Venue: Tehran International Fair Ground, Chamran Highway, Tehran.

Organizers: Embassy of Armenia in Tehran, Development Foundation of Armenia (DFA), Iran International Exhibitions Co.

Description: The Exhibition will promote the development of trade and economic cooperation, encourage reciprocal investments, tourism development, and facilitate trade deals between Armenia and Iran. The event will create opportunities for Iranian business community to get informed about achievements and capabilities of Armenian trade and industry. This will serve a purpose to establish sustainable and long term business cooperation. It should be noted that the Republic of Armenia is the only member of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) sharing land border with the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Foreign trade regimes of Armenia:

  • Membership in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). Armenian goods are imported into the markets of Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Russia in zero customs duty regime (free movement of goods, services, capital and labor).
  • "Generalised Scheme of Preferences" (GSP+) preferential trade regime with the European Union. Over 6400 products of Armenian origin are impoerted into EU with reduced tariffs or in zero customs duty regime.  
  • GSP regime with USA and Canada. Reduced customs tarrifs for imported Armenian products.
