Ambassador Toumanian's meeting in the Iranian Parliament

On February 15 Ambassador Toumanian had a meeting with Mohammad Mehdi Zahedi, the Head of the Education and Research Committee of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of Iran.
Issues of cooperation in science and education were touched and the importance of two countries’ legislatives stressed in this regard. The mutual recognition of academic diplomas, exchange programs for scholars and students, joint scientific and educational projects were among the topics of discussion.
Mohammad Mehdi Zahedi proposed to organize a meeting between the Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Youth and Sport of the National Assembly of Armenia and Education and Research Committee of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of Iran.
In the end of the meeting, Mohammad Mehdi Zahedi highly appreciated the role of the Iranian-Armenian scientists in the development of science in Iran.
