Minister Zarif Received the Representatives of Commonwealth Countries

On March 4, Mohammad Javad Zarif minister of foreign affairs of Iran on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of establishment of the Commonwealth Countries received the representatives of those countries.
Congratulating the 25th independent anniversary, he said that formation of new countries should be regarded as one of the significant developments of the 20th century. Expansion of cooperation among countries in the fields of energy, transportation, economy, commercial and security will be to the benefit of regional countries, Zarif said.
Diplomats of the Commonwealth Countries appreciated the initiative of Iranian foreign ministry for holding the ceremony and welcomed expansion of all-out cooperation with the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The meeting was attended by Sahak Eghiazaryan Counsellor of Armenian Embassy in Iran.
