Ambassador Toumanian received Markazi Province delegation

On July 30, Ambassador Artashes Toumanian received the delegation of Iranian Markazi Province headed by Mohammad Baharvand, governor of Saveh county. The visit took place in the framework of agreements reached during Ambassador Toumanian’s visit to Markazi Province from July 4-5 of this year.
The delegation was consisted of representatives of Markazi Governorate, Kaveh and Aveh industrial zones and chief executives of a range of companies.
During the meeting, possibilities of launching economic activities by Iranian companies in Armenia were discussed. Mohammad Baharvand informed that some of them had expressed willingness to be included in a delegation which would travel to Tavush region of Armenia in August.
Ambassador Toumanian talked about investment environment in Armenia, Armenia-Iran economic relations, necessity of increasing trade turnover and exporting Iranian goods through Armenia to other EAEU countries.
