Delegation of the Iranian Parliament traveled to Armenia

According to the agreement between Ambassador Artashes Toumanian and Mohammad Mahdi Zahedi, Chairman of the Education and Research Committee of the Islamic Cosultative Assembly of Iran reached on February 15 during their meeting, Embassy of Armenia in Tehran has undertaken some activities aimed at developing educational and scientific cooperation between two countries in the framework of inter-parliamentary bilateral cooperation.
As a result, visit of the delegation of Majles Education and Research Committee to Armenia was organized. From July 31 to August 1, members of the delegation headed by Mohammad Mahdi Zahedi had meetings with the Chairman of the State Committee of Science, Director of “Candle” Synchrotron Research Institute, President of National Academy of Sciences and Chairman of the Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Youth and Sport of Armenia. Cooperation between governments, parliaments and scientific institutions of Armenia and Iran was discussed.
