Meeting with newly elected Board of Iran-Armenia Chamber of Commerce

On September 1 Armenian Ambassador to Iran Artashes Toumanian received the Board Members of Iran-Armenia Chamber of Commerce and congratulated them on election.
Ambassador Toumanian noted that Armenia-Iran economic relations were in an important stage and active steps expected from the newly formed Board in this regard.This would facilitate solving of problems of mutual interest, realization of commercial and investment projects, as well as organizing dynamic information campaign. Ambassador Toumanian emphasized that it was necessary to take into account the experience gained from the past, achievements as well as problems and difficulties.
Hervik Yarijanyan, President of the Chamber, expressed his gratitude to the Ambassador for cooperation and assured him that the Chamber was ready to exert its utmost efforts to cement Armenia-Iran economic ties and make maximum use of the existing potential in this field. Yarijanyan expressed hope that the Embassy would support the Chamber in its activities.
Ambassador Toumanian wished the Board a success and reassured his readiness to support them.
Embassy Counsellor Sahak Yeghiazaryan was also present in the meeting.
