Ambassador Toumanian’s Visit to Razavi Khorasan Province

On October 31 and November 1, Mr. Artashes Toumanian, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the Islamic Republic of Iran, made a two-day working visit to Razavi Khorasan Province and had meetings with Alireza Rashidian, Governor General of Khorasan Razavi Province, Ghasem Taghizadeh Khamesi, Mayor of Mashhad and representatives of the Chamber of Trade, Industry, Mines and Agriculture.

During the meetings, cooperation opportunities in the fields of economy, culture, science and education between Armenia and Iran were discussed. Particular attention was paid to the issues of further development of tourism, aviation, Information Interchange and reciprocal visits.
