Ambassador Toumanian’s Visit to the National House of Iranian Cinema

On June 25, Mr. Artashes Toumanian - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the Islamic Republic of Iran had a meeting with Ms. Ladan Taheri - Head of the National House of Iranian Cinema. Mr. Alireza Ghasemkhan - Director of the Iranian Cinema Museum and Mr. Amir Hossein Alamalhoda - Head of the «Art and Experience» Cultural Organization also participated in that meeting.

Ambassador Toumanian got acquainted with the activities and upcoming projects of the National House of Iranian Cinema and Museum. He spoke about the Armenian film week of the last year initiated by the Armenian Embassy for the first time in Iran and offered to jointly organize another Armenian film week during the current year.

Mr. Artashes Toumanian also offered to organize a conference under the title of "Armenians in Iranian cinema" and publish a catalog about that. The recommendations of the Ambassador were greatly appreciated by the other side.
