Ambassador Toumanian met with the chief of staff of the President of IRI

On July 11, Ambassador Artashes Toumanian met with Mahmoud Vaezi, chief of staff of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

In the course of the meeting, the sides discussed a wide range of issues related to the Armenia-Iran relations. Iranian balanced approach to the Nagorno-Karabakah conflict and peaceful resolution of it were also touched upon.

The sides reaffirmed the necessity of effective bilateral cooperation in the current difficult regional conjuncture. Joint economic projects and issues connected to their realization were discussed.

Ambassador Toumanian and Iranian President’s chief of staff also talked about organizing officials visits.
