On November 20, Ambassador Artashes Toumanian and Mrs. Anahit Shahverdyan - his spouse, visited Islamic Revolution and Holy Defense Museum in Tehran.

The Museum staff briefed the Armenian Ambassador and the delegation accompanying him about the Islamic Revolution and Iran-Iraq War in 1980-1988. The guests got acquainted with the historical materials related to the participation of the representatives of Armenian community in hostilities.

A number of issues concerning the cooperation with the Armenian cultural institutions were discussed with Mr. Ali Asghar Jafari – Museum Director.

The Embassy delegation included Mr. Eduard Khachatryan - Counsellor, Mr. Arthur Hakobyan - Third Secretary and Mr. Norayr Mehrabyan – Assistant to the Ambassador.
