Ambassador’s Visit to “Artak Manukyan” Museum

On November 24, Ambassador Artashes Toumanian and his spouse – Mrs. Anahit Shahverdyan, visited “Artak Manukyan” Museum in Tehran.

The Museum staff briefed Mr. Toumanian and Mrs. Shahverdyan about the Museum exhibits and noted that among their visitors were a large number of Iranian students, representatives of scientific, educational and cultural institutions, as well as tourists from different countries.

The guests got acquainted with the history of Armenian community and Armenian culture in Iran.

Ambassador Toumanian highly appreciated the work done by Museum staff and attached importance to the maintenance of Armenian culture and development of the cooperation with the Museums in Armenia.
