Event Dedicated to the 2800th Anniversary of Yerevan

On November 27, an event dedicated to the 2800th anniversary of Yerevan – capital of Armenia, was organized at the hall of “N. Gulbenkian” (AGBU) school in Tehran under the initiative of the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia to the Islamic Republic of Iran.

On the occasion of the anniversary Mr. Artashes Toumanian - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the Islamic Republic of Iran made a speech. Prelate of the Armenian Diocese of Tehran Archbishop Sepuh Sargsyan also delivered a welcoming address.

A series of artistic performances including music, poetry were held during the evening.

After the event, the guests got acquainted with the photos presented at the photography exhibition dedicated to the 2800th anniversary of Yerevan.
