Armenian Deputy Minister Visited Tehran

From December 10 to 12, a session of the Armenia-Iran joint working group was held in Iran. Armenian delegation was headed by the Deputy Minister of Health Mrs. Anahit Avanesyan.

At the conclusion of the visit, a protocol of the Joint working group’s session was signed.

The Armenian delegation had meetings with the Deputy Ministers of Health of Iran Mohsen Asadi Lari, Alireza Reisi, Mariam Hazrati and Gholemreza Asghari. A range of issues on experience exchange in healthcare field, activation of contacts between professional groups, medical education, cooperation in the sphere of medical supplies and equipment were discussed.

The Armenian delegation visited “Actover” pharmaceutical company and “Rajai” cardiac center, where the guests got acquainted with the activity of the above mentioned institutions and discussed the possibilities of cooperation.

The Armenian delegation also visited the Embassy of Armenia to Iran.
