Ambassador Paid a Visit to CCSI

Armenian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to I.R. of Iran, H.E. Artashes Toumanian, in company with the diplomatiic staff of the Embassy paid a visit to the “Caucasus Studies Center” (CCSI). The Armenian diplomats were received by Seyed Mehdi Hoseyni Taqiabadi, the head of the center and the staff of the researchers.

Mr. Ambassador had remarks on the cooperation between Armenian and Iranian research centers and researchers. H.E. also stressed the significance of enhancing the well awarness and alert of Iranian researchers and academic circles regarding the political, economic domestic issues in Armenia as well as the developments in Armenia and Iran relations.

Mr. Toumanian also pointed out a number of significant issues of the region such as Karabakh dispute, internationally recognition of the Armenian Genocide, the elevation of the genocide consequences and the political developments regarding Iran in recent time.
