Ambassador Meeting with the Chairman of Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Committee

On June 9, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia, Artashes Toumanian, met the I.R. of Iran Parliament’s Chairman of National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, Mr. Heshmatollah Falahatpisheh.

In this meeting both sides reviewed fields and issues concerning Armenia-Iran ties, they stressed on activizing the relations of two countries Parliaments’ friendship groups and the significance of the free trade agreement between Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) and Iran in expanding the economic relations of both countries.

H.E the Ambassador mentioned that Parliaments of all member countries of EEU have approved the EEU-IRAN Free Trade Agreement and hoped that the Parliament of Iran would approve it in a near future.

Both sides also discussed the issues concerning Iran nuclear deal from international aspects.
