Concert of National Chamber Choir of Armenia in Ararat “Komitas” hall of Tehran

On July 24, an evening was held in Ararat Armenian organization “Komitas” hall on the occasion of the 150th birth anniversary of Komitas and the 80th anniversary of Tigran Mansurian.

In that event the National chamber choir of Armenia had performances by the artistic director and conductor of the choir Mr. Robert Mlkeyan.

The guest of honor of the evening was reknown composer Tigran Mansurian.

A number of authorities of Armenian communities from Tehran and Isfahan (New Julfa) were present in the evening.

The choir had performances of Komitas and Mansurian, later the choir of Ararat joined them. The evening ended with the Erebouni-Yerevan joint performance of both choirs.
