Armenian Ambassador Visited Isfahan

On September 22, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Armenia to Iran, Mr. Artashes Toumanian, accompanying his spouse, Mrs. Anahid Shahverdian and the delegation traveled to Isfahan where they had meetings with Armenian community diocease H.E. bishop Sipan Kechejian, the Chairmen of the Community Assembly, T. Ohanian, the Head of Management Board, V. Minassian as well as the officials of the community.

During the meeting the activities in community was discussed as well as the efforts done concerning the introducing the cultural and historical heritage to Iranian and foreign visitors.

The cooperation between the community and Armenia in economic, cultural and social level was highlighted.

During this trip the Ambassador had a meeting with some business people of Isfahan where Mr. Toumanian provided some extensive information to the audience concerning the business and investment circumstances in Armenia and the improvements in this regard.

Mr. Toumanian pointed out the role of the Trade Agreement of Iran with EEU which has created ideal opportunities for development of trade. In the end of the meeting questions were raised by the interested businessmen and were answered by the Ambassador.
