Chairman of Urban Development Committee of Armenia in Tehran

From November 8 to November 14, the Chairman of the Urban Development Committee of Armenia, Vahagn Vermishyan, heading a delegation visited the Islamic Republic of Iran to participate in the 8th International Conference on Seismology and Earthquake engineering in Tehran.

In his remarks at the conference Mr. Vermishyan stressed the importance of having an active cooperation and hoped to hold the conference in Armenia as well. Mr. Vermishyan extended his condolences for the victims of then happened earthquake in East Azerbaijan Province wishing the survivors a fast recovery.

The Armenian delegation was also hosted by Armenian Ambassador Artashes Toumanian in the Embassy.
