Armenian Ambassador Received the Newly Appointed Iranian Ambassador to Armenia

Armenian Ambassador, Artashes Toumanian, received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Republic of Armenia, Abbas Badakhshan Zohouri.

Mr. Toumanian in his welcoming remarks to his guest congratulated the appointment and wished success for more development in Armenia - Iran relations.

The interlocutors exchanged views on issues concerning Armenia - Iran relations and handling them in a more productive manner.

Mr. Zohouri in his turn appreciated the host for his warm welcome and expressed his readiness to have cooperation with the Armenian Embassy in Iran.
