Opera Singer Shakeh Makarian in Armenian Embassy

On January 21, Artashes Toumanian, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Armenia to the Islamic Republic of Iran received Ms. Shakeh Makarian, an Iranian-Armenian prominent and well-known figure in music, soprano opera singer and a great pianist.

During the meeting, the esteemed guest and the Ambassador exchanged views about ways of fostering the Armenia-Iran cultural relations and potentials particularly in the field of music for further bilateral cooperation.

Mr. Ambassador also pointed out the years long prolifique background of the singer in music shpere, her merit and contribution in introducing the Armenian culture to Iranian audience, appreciating her activities.
