Armenian Ambassador’s Trip to Kerman

On February 4 and 5 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the Islamic Republic of Iran traveled to Kerman on a mission. During the two days’ trip Mr. Ambassador had meetings with authorities in Kerman.

In the meeting with Mr. Mohammad Javad Fadaee, the Governor General of Kerman, both sides discussed a broad scope of political, economic and cultural issues and the cooperation potentials in this regard, agreements were made particularly for provincial cooperation.

Mr. Ambassador had a meeting with Mr. Seyed Mehran Alamzadeh, the Mayor of Kerman where the sides exchanged views on cultural and tourism fields, they agreed to establish ground for cooperation between Kerman and one of the cities in Armenia.

The Armenian ambassador also visited manufacturing companies.

During the meeting with the authorities and business people of the Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture of Kerman, Mr. Ambassador delivered an extensive speech regarding the economic and business condition in Armenia and the created favorable opportunities for business and investment on the light of the preferential trade agreement between Iran and Eurasian Economic Union. Video clips about the economic conditions in Armenia were shown and some relevant materials were distributed. The session ended with questions and answers.

More than 50 business people were attending in the meeting.
