On 18 June,2022 an evening was held in Tehran to tribute the memory of Dian Abgar (Apcar), Armenian   writer, humanitarian, social activist and the first female Diplomat/Consul in the world.

On this occasion ,  Arsen Avagyan, Ambassador of the R. of Armenia to the I.R. of Iran, delivered a speech presenting the life and career of Diana Abgar.

The guests attending the event were foreign diplomats, lawmakers in the Majlis, officials and personalities from the institutions and associations of the Iranian-Armenian community.
