The 108th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide marked in “Ararat” complex

On April 24, The Armenian Research Center in Tehran had organized an evening to honor the 108^th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide. The event was held in the main hall of the Armenian “Ararat” sport and cultural complex in Tehran. The night included speeches made by the speakers and artistic performances.

Arsen Avagyan, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the R. of Armenia in the I.R. of Iran, delivered his speech on the occasion as well.

To mark the 108th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide, a number of events as protest gatherings, laying flowers and commemorating nights have been held in New Julfa (Armenian quarter in Isfahan), Shahinshahr, Tabriz, Urmia and other Armenian populated cities since April 23 and 24 and will be continued till May 5.
