Closing ceremony of “2nd Isfahan International Children’s Painting Competition”

On April 26, the Closing ceremony of “2nd Isfahan International Children’s Painting Competition” was held in the city of Isfahan. The competition had local and foreign sections, near 5000 paintings from 4-18 years old children had been received by the organizers.

 Armenia participated by 175 paintings and ranked the first among the foreign countries for its volume. Three participants from Armenia honored in the competition.

The evening was attended by the mayor of Isfahan, Ali Ghasemzadeh, deputy of the mayor, Mojtaba Shahmoradi and Cultural Attaché of the R. of Armenia to the I.R. of Iran, Sergey Grigoryan.

During the competition, cultural attractions and heritages of Isfahan were displayed among them the Vank Cathedral, Holy Savior of New Julfa , the Armenian district in Isfahan.
