Business investment exhibition and forum in Kapan

On May 1, a business exhibition and forum organized by Iranian Aras Free Zone and municipality of Kapan was launched in cultural center of Kapan. During the two days’ forum the potentials and opportunities for investments in Armenian Syunik province were discussed.

Gevorg Parsyan, mayor of Armenia’s southern Syunik provincial capital Kapan and Morteza Abedin Varamin, consul general of I.R. of Iran in Kapan were keynote speakers in the event.

In his speech Parsyan noted “These types of forums and exhibitions as the international exhibition in last February, Arasexpo-2023 held in Tabriz, have turned to be an important stage for business circles and people of both countries in order to examine the potentials for expanding the ties and future prospects”.

Local artifacts and products of twenty companies operating in Aras Free Zone were displayed in the exhibition.

During the exhibition which was open on May 2^nd as well, a business forum was held in participation with business people and entrepreneurs of Kapan.
