Armenian prelate of Atrpatakan met with the Artists from Armenia

On May 8, Archbishop Grigor Chiftchian, the prelate of the Armenian diocese of Atrpatakan (Iranian Armenian prelacy in East and West Azerbaijan provinces of the I.R. of Iran) received ten artists from Armenia, the latters had been invited by Iran-Armenia Society and the management of Tabriz Islamic Art University in order to display their artworks of engraving, painting and modern metal engraving pieces in the gallery of the University.

Dr. Akhondi, head of the office of public relations and international affairs of Tabriz Islamic Art University and Dr. Nazif, the secretary general of Iran-Armenia friendship Society as well as Dr. Didari, were present in this meeting organized by their initiative. Later the guests toured the Armenian “Rostom-Gaspar” library.

On May 10, the Armenian prelate along with the members of the community council members visited the exhibition.
