Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia received Iranian Ambassador

On 8 Aug., Armen Grigoryan received Mehdi Sobhani, Iran’s newly-appointed extraordinary and plenipotentiary Ambassador to the R. of Armenia.

Mr. Grigoryan congratulated Mr. Sobhani for the extreme important responsibility as the Iranian Ambassador, expressing hope in his career to contribute for the further development of ties between two countries.

During the meeting the interlocutors discussed bilateral interested issues and the security concerns in the region. Mr.Grigoryan pointed the blockade of Lachin corridor by Azerbaijan for more than seven months causing humanitarian crisis in Karabakh and the stance of R. of Armenia in this regard.
