Kerobyan Received Bazrpash and Iranian delegation

On October 23, Armenian Minister of Economy, Vahan Kerobyan, received Mehrdad Bazrpash, the Iranian Minister of Roads and Urban Development of the Islamic Republic of Iran along with the delegation.

During the meeting, a number of issues related to the investment program of the North-South Road Corridor, the creation of Armenia-Iran bilateral free economic and industrial zones was discussed. facilitating customs system between the two countries, as well as eliminating road tolls was on the agenda as well.

Kerobyan noted that the elimination of road tolls will contribute the Armenian exporters to have an incomparably easier access to Arab countries and other large markets in the Middle East. This decision can reduce travel costs and duration, which will allow significantly diversifying export destinations.

The Iranian Minister Mehrdad Bazrpash reaffirmed the readiness of the Iranian government to cooperate with Armenia in this and other projects.
