Armenian Deputy Minister of Economy met with the Bangladeshi Ambassador at Tehran

On December 4, in the sideline of the "Eurasian Expo 2023" in Tehran, Narek Teryan, Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Armenia had a meeting with Manjurul Karim Khan Chowdhury, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of Bangladesh to the Republic of Armenia (residence: Tehran) in the Armenian pavilion of Expo.

Arsen Avagyan, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the Islamic Republic of Iran and Vardan Kostanyan, Armenian Trade Attaché to the I. R. of Iran attended the meeting as well.

During the meeting, the issues regarding Armenian-Bangladesh economic relations were discussed and giving a new momentum to these relations was stressed.

Both sides also discussed the practical steps regarding the visit of the Armenian delegation headed by Narek Teryan to the People's Republic of Bangladesh in early 2024.

Later, in the Armenian pavilion, Narek Teryan also met with Mehdi Elyassi, the director of the largest Iranian sea freight company "Tav Freight" and the possibilities of cooperation in the logistics sector were discussed.
