Armenian Deputy Minister of Economy met Iranian Deputy Minister of Industry, Mine, and Trade

Deputy Minister of Economy Narek Teryan met Iran's Deputy Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade and the head of the Iran’s Trade Promotion Organization Mehdi Zeyghami during his visit to Tehran. The meeting was also attended by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the Islamic Republic of Iran Arsen Avagyan and the Trade Attaché of the Republic of Armenia to the Islamic Republic of Iran Vardan Kostanyan.

During the meeting, the parties emphasized the development of bilateral trade and economic relations and discussed the ways to increase the trade turnover to $3 billion. The interlocutors also discussed issues related to the opening of the Iranian Trade Center in Armenia.

Armenian Deputy Minister of Economy during his stay in Tehran also met with Alireza Asgarian, Deputy Labor Minister for welfare and economic affairs, in this meeting issues related to the establishment of joint productions, as well as the progress of previously reached agreements, were discussed.
