Armenian Deputy Minister of Culture, Daniel Danielyan, held a number of meetings in Tehran within the framework of the 42nd Fajr International Film Festival

Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports (ESCS) of Armenia, Daniel Danielyan, traveled to Tehran on February 9-11 to participate in the 42nd Fajr International Film Festival (FIFF).

During his visit to Tehran, Daniel Danielyan and Arsen Avagyan, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the Islamic Republic of Iran met with Mohammad-Mehdi Esmaeili, Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, During the meeting, the parties highly appreciated the cooperation in the field of culture, discussing issues related to the further development of Armenian-Iranian cultural ties in this context.

Within the framework of the festival, the deputy minister Danielyan met with Mohammad Khazaee, Iran's Deputy Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance and Head of the Iranian Organization of Cinema and Audiovisual Affairs, Majid Zeynolabedin, executive director of Farabi Cinema Foundation and Raed Faridzadeh, Head of the international department of the 42nd FIFF. During the meeting, the possibilities of film production between the two countries and further cooperation in cinema industry were discussed.

Danielyan had meetings with Iranian producers and directors. During the meeting the future plans of Armenian-Iranian cooperation in the field of cinematography were discussed. He also visited Iran Cinem Museum.

It should be noted that the artistic director of the "Golden Apricot" Yerevan International Film Festival, Karen Avetisyan from Armenia was member of the jury of the festival. The 42nd Fajr International Film Festival included 621 films from 87 countries.
