On February 9, in the National Academy of Sciences of the R. of Armenia (NASRA), the book named "Armenian-Iranian relations 1991-2005" authored by historian scholar Karen Mkrtchyan (PH.D.) was unveiled.

At the presentation, Ashot Melkonyan, director NASRA, presented a historical overview of the relations between the two countries, speeches were made by Professor Gevorg Stepanyan, Head of the Department of History of Armenian Communities and Diaspora of NASRA, Yuri Suvalyan, Academician of the Department of Sciences and Armenology of NASRA, diplomat, Ph.D. Grigor Arakelyan, who is also the reviewer of the book, and others.

The author devoted 10-11 years to the study of Armenian-Iranian relations to write the book. "I referred to the contributions of the influential figures of the Armenian community of Iran in the relations between the two countries. Cases of 20 or 30 years old have historical significance today, meanwhile they are of contemporary importance.

because these relations have not remained only on the pages of the press and in history, they are still considered factors today," said the author.
