Deputy Economy Minister of the republic of Armenia Ashkhen Shirvanyan received the Iranian delegation

On February 22, Deputy Minister ,Ashkhen Shirvanyan , received the Iranian representatives of the state and private sector of livestock breeding, poultry breeding, beekeeping, as well as animal and bird feed production spheres.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the issues for future cooperation in the field of agriculture particularly the opening centers for selective breeding, joint production of vaccines, the transit transportation of cattle and the construction of a final veterinary inspection or quarantine checkpoint, as well as regarding the regulations for the import of dairy products from third countries, particularly from the Republic of Iran to Armenia.

Armenian deputy Minister, Ashkhen Shirvanyan, also emphasized the importance of forming an Armenian-Iranian joint working group for further cooperation.

Later, experts’ groups and representatives of the private sector exchanged views.
