“Armenia as a civilizational crossroad: Historical and cultural ties” International conference in Yerevan

On March 28, an international academic conference named “Armenia as a civilizational crossroad: Historical and cultural ties” started out in National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia (NASRA). The conference was organized by “Orbeli Analytical Research Center”, “Geghard Scientific-Analytical Foundation” and “Yerevan State University”.

Tens of academics and scholars from Armenia and from Belarus, China, Egypt, Georgia, Germany, Great Britain, Hungary, India, Iran, Italy, Japan, Russian Federation and the USA were attending the event as well as foreign ambassadors, university students and cultural centers.

In the opening ceremony presidents of NASRA, YSU, Information and Public Center of the Prime Minister, Gardman-Sirvan-Nakhijevan Panamanian Union delivered messages.

The presented reports covered topics in history, ethnography, culture, political science and other fields.
