Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the Islamic Republic of Iran met with Vice President of the Islamic Republic of Iran

Grigor Hakobyan, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the Islamic Republic of Iran met with Seyyed Hamid Pourmohammadi, Vice President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Head of the Plan and Budget Organization (PBO) and Co-Chair of the Armenian-Iranian Joint Intergovernmental Commission.

The parties highlighted the importance of the 18th session of the Intergovernmental Joint Commission held in Tehran last year. They touched upon the need to further deepen the bilateral cooperation within the framework of the commission.

Ambassador Hakobyan and Vice President Pourmohammadi also discussed a number of issues on the bilateral agenda, particularly issues related to the transport, infrastructure, and energy sectors.

The meeting was preceded by a private conversation between the Ambassador and Peyman Mirab, Iranian secretary of the Intergovernmental Joint Commission.
