Ambassador Grigor Hakobyan met with Ara Shahverdian, Head of the Iranian parliamentary friendship group of Iran and Armenia and other members of the group.

During the meeting, the parties touched upon issues related to Armenia-Iran bilateral relations.

The Armenian Ambassador hailed the visit of the Iran-Armenia parliamentary friendship group of the Iranian Majlis to Armenia at the beginning of the year and the meetings with the President of Armenia, as well as representatives of the legislative and executive branches.

The interlocutors emphasized the importance of further activating the cooperation between parliamentary friendship groups of both countries.
