Panel discussion on “Vision for Armenia-Iran trade ties”

On Dec. 6 in the Ministry of Economy of Armenia a panel discussion was held with the topic of “the vision for Armenia- Iran trade ties”. The main objective of this gathering was to foster the trade ties between two countries and to implement the bilateral interested business projects.

In this session Armen Arzumanyan, Deputy economy Minister had remarks on two countries’ trade relations, adding that in the current year during ten months the volume of the business between two countries has had a dramatic increase and comparing with the last year the indexes show 45.5% growth. Mr. Arzumanyan stressed that a favorable trade cooperation has been formed between Armenia and Iran meanwhile an active interaction is a necessity for further motivation.

Meanwhile, Vardan Kostanyan, Trade Attaché of Amenia in Iran stated that in coming future A business center for Iranian goods is going to be opened in Armenia with the participation of more than hundred Iranian companies.
