The World Premiere “The Song of Flying Leaves” at Kaboom Animation Festival

“The Song of Flying Leaves”, a short animation by Armine Anda supported by National Cinema Center of Armenia, the first Armenia/Iran animation, will have its World Premiere in ‘New Directions’ Competition of one of the most renowned animation festivals- Kaboom Animation Festival in Netherlands!!! The script is co-written by the director and the famous Ukranian film director Roman Balayan.

A journey to a dream through a meeting between twelve-year-old Suna, who lives alone in a forest, and sleeps under a blanket of leaves and a two-hundred-year-old man in possession of secret knowledge. A reflection on tender and wise friendship between a father and a daughter, a teacher and a student, an adult and a child, and how when accepting to trust, the impossible can turn into possible…
