Armenia’s Deputy Economy Minister in Tehran EXPO 2024

Narek Hovakimyan, Deputy Economy Minister of the Republic of Armenia, participated in the 6th International Export Potential Exhibition of the Islamic Republic of Iran (Iran Expo 2024) which kicked off in Tehran on April 27.

The Deputy Minister also visited the pavilion of the Chabahar Free Industrial Zone (CFIZ), during this visit the CFIZ Managing Director presented the production and export opportunities of the region and overview of the possible cooperation.

About 70 companies from Armenia are participating in Iran Expo 2024. Within the framework of the exhibition, Narek Hovakimyan met with the Armenian participants of the exhibition. The meeting was also attended by Arsen Avagyan, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the Islamic Republic of Iran and Vardan Kostanyan, Trade Attaché of the Republic of Armenia to the I. R. of Iran.

B2B meetings were also held within the framework of the visit where issues related to strengthening Armenian-Iranian business ties, increasing bilateral trade and transport routes were discussed.
