New MOU on economic cooperation signed between Armenia and Iran

On June 14, Emil Tarasyan, Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Investments of Armenia in the framework of his working visit to Tehran, had meetings in the Institute of Standards and Industrial Research of Iran (ISIRI) and Iran Nanotechnology Initiative Council (INIC).

In the presence of ISIRI President Nayereh Pirouzbakht and Ayatollah Alemi, Representative of the Supreme Leader to the Ministry of Agriculture – Jahad of Iran, Emil Tarasyan and ISIRI Deputy President Vahid Marandi Moghadam signed MOU between the Ministry of Economic Development and Investments of the Republic of Armenia and ISIRI. The document outlines various fields of cooperation related to the Islamic “halal” standard.

During the visit to INIC, some issues of mutual interest were discussed.
