Visit of the Delegation of the Province of Ararat to Gilan

On September 5-8, the delegation of Ararat Province headed by Garik Sargsyan - the Governor, made a working visit to Gilan.

Within the framework of the visit, a meeting was held with Mr. Mostafa Salari - the Governor of the Province of Gilan. During the meeting interlocutors discussed a number of issues related to expanding trade and economic cooperation between the Provinces of Ararat and Gilan, promoting investments, enhancing tourism potential and so on.

Separate meetings were held with the management of the Gilan Trade, Industry, Mines and Agriculture Chamber, as well as the representatives of a number of companies and businessmen who were presented the most favorable fields for investing in Ararat. An agreement was reached to raise the level of mutual recognition and develop economic cooperation through bilateral visits.

The Armenian Embassy in Iran was actively involved in the preparations for the visit of the Armenian Delegation.
