Ambassador Toumanian Received the Head of the IT and E-Business Group

On September 17, Ambassador Toumanian received Mr. Hamed Shabani - Head of the IT and E-Business Group of the Center for Progress and Development of the Presidency of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

From 8 to 10 September Mr. Shabani had paid a working visit to Armenia with the assistance of the Armenian Embassy in Iran to get acquainted with the economic capacities, especially in the field of IT. Business Armenia had organized appropriate meetings and discussions for Iranian delegation to develop cooperation projects in Armenia.

During the meeting, the interlocutors discussed a number of issues related to enhancing mutual cooperation, implementation of joint projects, the possibilities of accessing the markets of the third countries and so on.

In conclusion, an agreement was reached on presenting proposals for collaboration in the field of IT and other spheres of economy by the Iranian side.
