Visit of the Prosecutor General of Armenia to Iran

On November 13, Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia Mr. Arthur Davtyan visited Islamic Republic of Iran upon the invitation of the Prosecutor General of IRI Mohammad Jafar Montazeri.

On November 14, the bilateral meeting of the delegations headed by the Prosecutor Generals of two countries took place. Issues concerning cooperation in legal area were discussed in particular in directions of struggle against crime and illegal circulation of drugs, legal assistance in the framework of criminal cases, exchange of experience and information. In this context importance of activation of cooperation between the Prosecutor General Offices of Armenia and Iran was underlined.

At the end of the meeting Prosecutor General of RA Arthur Davtyan and Prosecutor General of IRI Mohammad Jafar Montazeri singed Program օf Cooperation Between the Prosecutor General's Office of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Armenia.
