Conference Dedicated to the Bilateral Relations of Armania and Iran

On December 17, a conference under the theme “Armenia-Iran relations, opportunities and challenges” was organized by the Armenian National Committee of Tehran and the Iran-Armenia friendship association at “Aram Manoukian” hall of the Union of Armenian craftsmen of Iran.

H.E. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the Islamic Republic of Iran Mr. Artashes Toumanian participated in the event. In his speech Mr. Toumanian represented the recent political developments of Armenia and in particular, spoke about the results of the extraordinary parliamentary elections held in Armenia and opportunities for development of the relations between Armenia and Iran.

Mr. Mohsen Faghani - Head of the Department of Caucasus of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran, Mr. Vali Qouzegar Kaleji - Expert on Central Asia and Caucasus and other Iranian experts made speeches too.

At the end of the event, discussions and exchanges of ideas between participants took place.
