Lori Governor Visited Mazandaran Province of I.R. of Iran

Initiated by the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in I.R. of Iran, Governor of Lori Province in Armenia, Andrey Ghookasyan, heading a delegation traveled to Mazandaran Province in Iran from 9 to 12 November.

During their stay, Ghookasyan and the Governor of Mazandaran, Hosseinzadegan, signed a Memorandum of Understanding to enhance the cooperation in between.

In the meeting with Mr. Hosseinzadegan, the issues of decentralized cooperation in economy, tourism and other sectors were discussed, they stressed on the issues of investments, increase in trade exchange volume and figures in tourism.

The Armenian delegation had a meeting with local business people in Mazandaran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture. They also visited some industrial sites and ways of cooperation with Armenian parties were examined.

During their stay in Iran, the Armenian delegation visited the Embassy of Armenia in Tehran as well.
