Delegation of Armenian Police in Tehran

On November 12, Colonel Arthur Martirosyan, the acting head of anti-organized crimes department of the Police of the Republic of Armenia, heading a delegation arrived in Tehran for two days’ official visit.

The Armenian delegation had meetings with Second Brigadier General Mohammad Masoud Zahedian, head of the Iran anti-narcotics police, Second Brigadier General Hadi Shirzad, head of Tehran Interpol and Second Brigadier General Mohammad Babayee, head of Iran Security Police.

In these meetings cooperation between Police of Armenia and Iran, the strategic perspectives for developing this cooperation were discussed. The two sides also agreed to hold meetings between the Armenian and Iranian police officials on borderline of two countries twice a year.
