A Joint Forum on Business Held in TCCIM

On November 25, a business forum was held in the center of Tehran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture (TCCIM). The forum was a joint effort of the Armenian Embassy and the Chamber, the topic was “Ways to Develop Armenia-Iran Trade Relations”.

Prior to the start of the forum a meeting was held between the Armenian Ambassador, Artashes Toumanian and the Chairman of the Chamber, Masoud Khansari in which the parties discussed a wide scope of the ways to develop Armenia - Iran economic relations.

The speakers in the forum were A. Toumanian, Armenian Ambassador, H.Yarijanian, Chairman of the Iran - Armenia Commerce Chamber, Mohsen Faghani, director of Caucasia desk in the Iranian Foreign Affairs Ministry and the officials from TCCIM.

In his remarks, the Armenian Ambassador presented the current situation of Armenia - Iran relations, future developments, particularly the opportunities created by the agreement between EEU - Iran regarding the preferential trade and the operational role of the state institutions, social organizations and the business people in this concern.

Mr. Toumanian, also stressed the convenient and facilitated conditions for running business and the doing investment in Armenia.
