Armenian Ambassador’s Meeting with the Iranian Speaker of the Parliament

On September 28, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Armenia to the Islamic Republic of Iran, Artashes Toumanian had a meeting with the Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, Ali Ardeshir Larijani.

The sides reviewed the bilateral ties in economic and political issues, inter-parliamentary relations, the case of Artsakh, EEC-Iran agreement for free economic zone and environmental issues.

Mr. Toumanian talked about the gas and energy cooperation between two countries and the new opportunities in this regard which were responded positively by the Speaker.

Mr. Larijani appreciated the stance of authorities of Armenia in international organizations for their contributions to Iran.
