Meeting with the Head of “IRNA”

On November 12, Artashes Toumanian, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the I.R. of Iran, had a meeting with Zia Hashemi, the head of the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA). The ways to improve the relation in order to reach to a more efficient cooperation between the Embassy and the News Agency were discussed during the meeting.

Mr. Toumanian expressed his appreciation and content with the activities of the Agency regarding the issues about Armenia and pointed out the state policy of Armenia toward Armenia - Iran relations in regard to the accuracy of news, analysis, information and to increase the opportunity for expressing multitude opinions.

The interlocutors in the meeting agreed on fostering systematic relations between the media agents in Armenia and the Iranian News Agency.
