On February 20-22, a delegation led by the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Armenia, Karen Andreasyan, visited the Islamic Republic of Iran.

During the visit the Armenian minister had meetings with Iranian Vice-President of legal affairs Mohammad Dehghan, President of Iran Supreme Court Seyyed Ahmad Mortazavi Moghadam and Minister of Justice of the Islamic Republic of Iran Amin Hossein Rahimi.

First Deputy Chief of the Police of Armenia Aram Hovhannisyan who was accompanying the Armenian delegation had separate meetings with Qasem Rezaei Deputy Police Chief of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Majid Karimi Chief of Iranian Anti-Narcotics Police.

A Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation was signed between the ministries of justice of the Republic of Armenia and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
